Think I’ll watch Alien 3 right now.
I don’t get the enormous hate towards it, I really don’t. Flawed masterpiece. The only bits I hold against it are the CGI replacing the costume work, and the execution of Hicks and Newt. According to my big book o’ Alien, Cameron and Fincher met for lunch once, and the first thing Cameron said was ‘I can’t believe you killed Newt’, or words to that effect.
Alien > Aliens > Prometheus > Alien 3. That’s all of them, right?

the most annoying thing about studying philosophy is hearing the subtly different variants on the same story.
“Oh, I knew someone who had a philosophy exam and they just wrote ‘Why?’ They got full marks.”
“I heard that there was an essay question on this philosophy module that said ‘What is bravery?’ Someone put ‘this is’ and got a first.’
You get this from a lot of people when you tell them that you take academic philosophy. These stories or their multitudinous siblings are not true, but if you have a couple of brain cells to rub together then you will have figured this out. I wish those that tell them would stop devaluing my chosen subject and the hard work and research that I put into my essays.
